I assume therefore the original was a little harder, as you couldn't just play it as a more action oriented FPS with plentiful ammo. The redux allows you to play the first game with action gameplay similar to the second game (if you choose), but you can still play stealthily/with less resources like the original (having to conserve ammo, use it wisely, etc). updated WARNING: Starting a new game in either Metro 2033 Redux or Metro Last Light Redux will delete your collectible progress in BOTH games. I played about 20 hours of the original but it was so long ago, and I haven't played much of the redux yet (a few hours between PS4 and PC) to be able to compare my own experiences, but I'm told some of the mechanics are a bit different and more to the taste of people who played the original first. It doesn't look like the store page is up for the original anymore, no. Oh, then there's Subnautica, but I think everyone knows about that one by now. The most important part imo is to not immediately start adding the things you unlocked as they unlock during milestones since those pile on your bills etc before your finances/infrastructure can handle it. You can also google for a beginner’s guide to starting a city - the thing is it does take quite a while before the city is ready enough for you to truly start going wild on the city design if you have to care for finances. You can turn on unlimited money (Main menu > Content Manager > Mods > Unlimited money), it takes a lot of the stress off while you freely explore the rest of the game’s content from the start & get used to where everything is in the UI.
